Anacapri, Isola di Capri

Some hotels are built.
Villa Eva was created.

A handmade family oasis in Anacapri, shaped by love, art and more than a lifetime of imagination.

The Arrival

Beyond Capri’s crowds and polished storefronts, there is another island.

Quieter. Greener. More human. Ten minutes on foot from the center of Anacapri, past gardens that spill over their own walls, hidden inside it is Villa Eva.

Our Story

Built by a love story.

This was Eva Balestrieri’s childhood home. Then she met Vincenzo Parlato, a self-taught artist with an endless imagination. Over the decades, he transformed the house with his own hands — domes, arches, gardens, rooms and hidden corners unlike anything else on Capri.

He named it Villa Eva. Most mornings, you can still find him somewhere on the property, working — there is always one more thing to improve.

The Villa Today

Not designed all at once. Discovered over a lifetime.

Ten rooms, no two alike. A pool at the center of a garden thick with giant cactus, orchids and lemon trees. A snack bar that serves sandwiches until five and pours drinks under more stars than you’ll know what to do with. The property is alive, layered, and still full of surprises.

The Family
